MUSEUM OF ZOOLOGY OF THE UNIVERSITY OF SÃO PAULO

2015 Museologia

Situated in the Ipiranga neighborhood, the building that houses the USP Museum of Zoology is an important research center and has one of the largest collections on Brazilian biodiversity in the world.

At the end of 2014, Expomus won a bid to coordinate the assembly of a new long-term exhibition, managing the teams that adapted the space and infrastructure, developing and executing the expography, visual communication, interactive media and technical lighting, and recomposing the collection, among others.

The new exhibition Biodiversity: Learn to Preserve presents the museum’s rich collection, as well as an area reserved for educational activities. It also has an audiovisual room that presents the theme in an educational manner and whose mission is to draw attention to the understanding and preservation of biodiversity.

The exhibition, inaugurated August 28, 2015, is open Wednesday through Sunday, from 10 AM to 5 PM.
