With an architectural project by the Gustavo Penna Arquitetos Associados office, the Memorial was installed at the site of the rupture and had the collaboration of Expomus in the constitution of the collection and in the formation of teams on the subject of sensitive memories.

The Brumadinho Memorial is dedicated to remembering and honoring each of the 272 lives, through exhibitions, collection production, research and educational actions, mobilizing dynamics of reflection on the tragedy.

The initiative started from a strategic work of institutional positioning and conceptual orientation, which contemplated an integrated look between the demands of management, safeguarding, research and communication museological.

The new exhibition occupies two floors and four distinct galleries, which, in turn, are divided into rooms or exhibition niches. It is a unique and cohesive project, whose narrative is presented in seven modules that weave the medium’s life trajectory.

In addition to contextualizing facts and aspects of Chico Xavier’s biography, the expository narrative highlights the medium’s relationship with the city of Uberaba, the important social role he played and the universal values inherent to his discourse and practice.

In order to sensitize visitors to the spiritual experiences lived by Chico Xavier, the exhibition makes use of immersive experiences and technology resources. It also has various physical accessibility and content resources for people with disabilities.

In this way, the requalification project provided the emergence of a cultural equipment of reference in the city and region, aimed at disseminating the humanist values present in the legacy of Chico Xavier.

Expomus acted in the full museological advisory of the SESI Lab project, from its conceptualization and conception to its total implementation, working in partnership with the Exploratorium, a museum in San Francisco, in the United States. Expomus was also responsible for the conception and production of the temporary exhibition The Future of Professions, the first original exhibition held by SESI Lab and opened together with the inauguration of the space.

SESI Lab was installed in the heart of the federal capital, an iconic building originally designed by Oscar Niemeyer, with almost 7,500 square meters. The architectural requalification was carried out by Gustavo Penna Architects & Associates.

The multidisciplinary program proposed for the space is guided by a creative and innovative educational approach, including temporary and permanent exhibitions, festivals, seminars, workshops, artistic residencies, cinema, as well as activities oriented to maker culture.

In SESI Lab’s DNA are the social and educational technologies developed decades ago by the Social Service of Industry (SESI) and the National Service for Industrial Learning (SENAI) in order to connect the space to the new demands and rapid changes of the world to propose actions, collect ideas and value diversity.

In 2021, the Site was reopened after undergoing a complete requalification process, under the general coordination of Intermuseus and with Expomus acting in the museological requalification. The project included the updating of the environments of the property, maintaining its essence as spaces inhabited by the great figure who was the landscape architect Roberto Burle Marx. The objectives were also to expand the capacity of the place and to receive visits in a more accessible and qualified way. The initiative was sponsored by BNDES.

In the same year of its reopening, the Roberto Burle Marx Site was considered a World Heritage Site by UNESCO.

Since 1985 the Site is a special unit linked to the Institute of National Historical and Artistic Heritage (Iphan), fulfilling the role of preserving, researching and disseminating the life and work of Roberto Burle Marx.

Supported by a cultural and participatory program that intertwines the Jewish experience with Brazilian culture and contemporary art, MUJ was born committed to the coexistence between the various social groups and identities, to the fight against intolerance and prejudice, to education and intergenerational transmission, values at once universal and Jewish. The museum is housed in the building of the old Beth-El temple, in the central region of São Paulo, listed by the municipal heritage.

Expomus acted in the museological coordination of the implementation of the space, inaugurated in November 2021 in the restored building of the old House of Chamber and Jail, of the Florianópolis City Hall, which granted the management of the equipment to the Social Service of Commerce (Sesc-SC) for 20 years.

The Museum was born with the objective of promoting continuous reflection on the territory, the dynamics of construction, occupation and transformation of urban space, in its different dimensions: historical, geographical, cultural and symbolic, where temporalities converge and interpenetrate, through the exhibition of physical collections, technology, interactivity and its multidisciplinary educational program, comprehensive and inclusive.

Based on an innovative concept, the Museum of Florianópolis brings characteristics of historical museums, preserving the memory of the Capital of Santa Catarina, while looking at the present time to understand the complexity of the issues of the city today, in order to open a dialogue for the future. Using different technologies and exposing important collections, the space should position itself in the museological scenario of the municipality as an interlocutor to address emerging issues, bring different voices of the population.

This is the fifth museum of the Butantan Institute, which has been working with education, teaching and dissemination of knowledge since its foundation. In the long-term exhibition, the public can visualize the stages of conducting a scientific research of a vaccine, know the vaccine technological platforms, the functioning of the immune system and immune memory of the human body, the reaction of the vaccinated organism, among other interactive activities.

Expomus worked in the design of the museum plan and coordinated the elaboration of executive projects of museography, expography, visual communication and technology and carried out museum monitoring and coordination of the execution of the requalification of the Museum. In May 2014, the end of the restoration, the Museum was opened to the public, with its refurbished facilities, a long-term exhibition and its collection again available for consultation and research.

O post São Paulo State Immigration Museum apareceu primeiro em Expomus.

At the end of 2014 Expomus coordinated the assembly of the new long-term exhibition, managing the teams that made adaptations of space and infrastructure, development and execution of expography, visual communication, interactive media and luminotechnique, as well as recomposition of collections, among others.

The new exhibition Biodiversity: Know to Preserve presents the rich collection of the Museum and incorporates an area specially designed for educational actions. It also has an audiovisual room that addresses the theme in a didactic way and has as mission to turn the visitor’s gaze to the knowledge and preservation of biodiversity.
