The exhibition held at CCBB-SP and CCBB-RJ presented specific aspects of post-Impressionist artistic production, held from the end of the 19th century to the beginning Cubism, which established the relations of continuity and rupture with Impressionism \u2013 a movement that preceded it and from which many of the artists started \u2013 portraying the characteristics of this period. Among the artists: Van Gogh, Gaugin, C\u00e9zanne, Monet, Matisse, Renoir.<\/p>\n\n

The exhibition, an exhibition of the Mus\u00e9e d’Orsay, was organized in 4 modules and presented 74 works from the museums d’Orsay and l’Orangerie, from more than 30 artists who sought new paths to painting, starting an aesthetic revolution in the arts through the use of color. The curatorship was pablo Jimenez Burillo, director of Culture of fundaci\u00f3n MAPFRE, and Guy Cogeval, president of the Mus\u00e9e d’Orsay. The scientific curatorship was by Isabelle Cahn, curator of the Mus\u00e9e d’Orsay.<\/p>\n\n

The Triumph of Color<\/strong> <\/em> it was the second exhibition held by the Mus\u00e9e d’Orsay in Brazil, preceded by \n the exhibition Impressionism: Paris and modernity \u2013 Masterpieces of the Mus\u00e9e d’Orsay<\/strong>\n<\/em>, also performed by Expomus. <\/p>\n\n

The exhibition received an audience of more than 922,000 visitors in 137 days (between S\u00e3o Paulo and Rio de Janeiro), representing a milestone in the formation of public and a unique opportunity to contact emblematic works of the world heritage.<\/p>\n\n
