Heritage of the Sacred: Masterpieces of the Vatican and Italian Museums

The National Museum of Fine Arts received in 2013, during World Youth Day, the exhibition Heritage of the Sacred: Masterpieces of the Vatican and Italian Museums, which featured more than 100 masterpieces from the Vatican Museums and major Italian institutions – such as the Palazzodi Venezia museum, the Galleria Borghese, the Capitoline Museums of Rome, the Museo di Capodimonte (Naples), the Galleria Nazionale delle Marche (Urbino) and the Galleria Palatina (Florence), as well as the Vatican Apostolic Library and the St. Peter’s Factory.
